So we left Cusco to get a 14hour bus through the night across the border into Bolivia and to Copacobana.

This was the worst bus ride yet.. horrible so cold and the bus had broken windows. It took us to Puno where we waited for a couple of hours to get the bus across the border, thanks to all the advance paperwork we had done the border was a sinch and the temp passport got me through to Bolivia just fine. The bus rode along the edge of the very beautiful Lake Titicaca into Copacobana where as is a normal bolivian custom we had to pay tax (you get taxed for everything here) We spent 3nights in Copacabana humming Barry Manilow to ourselves (no karoke bars - such luck) meeting the dog man..(very strange individual with many dogs under the impression that he has an invitation to come to the uk to play with what is left of the Beatles) and exploring the surrounding area before once again heading out...
