Erm, today was alright. just went to the airport and stuff and got a plane to Hanoi arriving at 4.

Its really cool. Bustling as anything! IMagine a motorway busy with lots of cars... Have you imagined it? Then imagine that motorway turning into a little road all the cars gone replaced by motorbikes and scooters. It is insane. We couldn't cross the road at all. The first time we did Brett almost got run over, the wheel of the scooter just an inch away! To practise, we had to trail the locals (I've never felt like such a tourist in my life) and then onto learningh that you go into the road and the bikes just go AROUND you (only barely though).

It's a pretty city though. Very. Nice boulevards and frenchesque buildings. Near us there is a lake, with people round it doing yoga or tai chi or whatever. It is very relaxing.

The hostel is lovely. The people are very kind ( alike lots of the vietnamese people, just totally friendly and wanting to chat to us) and the rooms are spacious with a balcony!!
