Another great but tiring day.

We took a train today, instead of the taxis. Although that may not be exciting, it is! Getting on the train you are literally shoved on, standing in claustrophobic crowds in the cabin. It was a good thing that women had to be in a separate carriage; it would have been very indecent. Also the doors are always open, so we leaned outside of the carriage, looking at skyscrapers and 4 story shanty towns.

It rained so much none stop from 12 till 5! And we didn't have an umbrella and so we were very drenched. We caught a boat to Elephant caves, a tropical island just off of Mumbai. Inside were temple like caves with Statues of hindu gods. Quite cool. It was very impressive as it was carved and not built.

Jenny got some corn stolen from a monkey!!! We met her today and she came with us. At the island she bought a corn on the cob or whatever and was taking it upstairs WHEN A MONKEY JUMPED OUT AND TRIED TO GRAB IT FROM HER. She escaped it from happening, but the monkey growled and it was very scary to see lots and lots of these animals glaring at you.
