This morning Eva and I cleared around the coffee plants located around the vegetable garden whilst Anya did the mula run and the guys brought some soil down from the forest, using the donkey, to supplement the soil in the bed where we pulled out the rotten radishes the day before.
It was a pretty dry day (slightly sunny at first but then overcast) and after lunch, I saw and managed to get photographs of, some parakeets and toucans in the trees near the volunteer house. At last! Only need to get a humming bird in flight and I can be happy…
My afternoon task was to unpick a piece of hessian weave so the Danish group could use the weft (?) - the vertical threads - to make bracelets Wednesday afternoon. At 4pm, we then had a lecture on indigenous people that I asked for and which the others agreed with. It was very interesting and we got a bit of
