This morning we got up grabbed breakfast then were picked up by a mini-bus for the Flight of the Gibbon. It picked up another 7 people after us, then drove for around an hour until we arrived at the centre. They explained to us that a few weeks ago there normal centre was destroyed by a landslide, so we were actually in a school they were borrowing, which also had cliffs around it, this immediately filled us with confidence on the safety of the place. Wednesday morning we woke up at 5:30 to get up and see the monks walk down the street. But the rain was chucking it down so Rachel decided to stay in bed. I through some clothes on and headed down, got to the front door of our guest house and it was locked….. guess that was a sign that I should go back to bed for a bit. Today we woke up excited as it was the day of our Mahout elephant experience. We ran out for breakfast next door to our guesthouse so that we could see if our pickup arrived. Just as we'd ordered a van pulled up. We watched for a while and then it drove round the corner…we thought we were going to miss our tour. I went running round and it was our guide, he was early. He said he'd come back for us. We finished our breakfast quickly and then found the van again ...

This morning we woke and went to a nice little café outside our resort for some breakfast. We then headed back to get on a tuk tuk to the bus station on our luxury Mini bus that we'd booked to take us to Luang Prebang. We shared the tuk tuk with 2 others, thinking we we're going to have a whole mini bus between 4 of us. It turned out more people were at the station and it was completely full, and no aircon - hardly luxury we paid an extra 10,000 for this. Oh wel...

We woke up this morning luckily in time for the tour but maybe not much time for breakfast. Plus also we had a power cut so the shower was freezing. So we headed out to where the tour started and quickly grabbed a cheese sandwich and a pancake from a nearby stall. We ate our food as we waited for the tour to start.
