So how is the big adventure going? Your photos are absolutely amazing!! Joe your destiny may be in modelling- you seem to have a natural affinity with the camera!!! I like the hat very 'cowboyesque', is it in preparation for the states?

It's a shame the weather was against you when it came to doing the 'all adventure' stuff. Have to save it for next time your in NZ. Not too long now before you head to the sun and a lot of sand and sea. Any plans while in Fiji or is it chill out time?

So, life in Singapore goes on. We were at Michaelangelos at the weekend with a colleague of Dad's. I think he had the exact same meal as you had George when we went there. He assured me it was every bit as good. We are going up to Tokyo for a week on 7th. Dad has work to do most days but I will be free to explore and we will get the weekend together. Hoping we may get the chance to take a trip up Mount Fuji. A few days after we get back Luke will be joining us. It will so good to have him here. Looking forward to sharing Singpore with him and doing some of the things we did.

Well that is it for now. Dad is due home in a while and we are going to get him some golf shoes as he is playing golf tomorrow down by the Singapore Flier.

hello. were in an internet cafe in rotarua. ha jonny glad u likes the gift, hours of thought went into getting it and personalising it for u! my skydive got cancelled, and they did none the day after so we had to leave. then was gonna do one here, but the weathers called them off! so decided to do some white water rafting instead which was ment to happen today, but that got called off coz the river flooded! bit s*** eh!! oh well.

been watching a bit of the footy, got up early the other day to watch the italy spain game and the signal cut out half way thru extra time. so missed the pens which wud have been the best bit had i have seen them! not the best!!! a modelling career wud be ok eh....but im not sure!! i did show a little bit of glacial knowledge but dint wanna come accross as a know it all, so wen the guide kept making little mistakes etc i just kept my mough shut!

hi mum, dont worry about stuff going wrong, my leg is definatly still attached and feels ok. have we got a date for my meeting with the doc?? barcas not long round the corner and its gonna be a blast! i might even cook everyone my new culinary delight, instant noodles, instant soup and mushrooms! ITS LOVELY!!! dads cars rubbish int it.. hah he should get finney to fix it, he used to me a mechanic!

russia beat the netherlands, you probably already heard, but it was a good game and they deserved it. think it might be a russia v germany final. so my mum asked me... "your a geographer, is russia a part of europe?" to which i had a long waffly uncertain response.

i am definitely up for some bbq action, everyone should be there!!

well i was wondering about you and the skydive, as there was no mention of you doing one! surely it is just like oblivion, but from a greater height, and you love that!!

i can't believe the amount of posing going on in the photos, it's so funny! perhaps a modelling career would be well suited for joe?? it appears he feels very comfortable working the camera!

oh i also just wanted to comment on the clarity of your photos, that fujifilm 12 megapixel camera is really capturing the beauty of these places, particularly the glacier! how was it visiting a glacier after extensively studying them? like your essay in 3d? joe, did you butt in the tour with your extensive knowledge on jokalhaups (sp?) btw, liz got a first on her dissertation.

ok, well i hope to be able to make the bbq, but im sure ill see you before then as im around london the weekend you get back!

So good to see the pictures!! Joe seems to still be posing even though he appears to be rather savage like! though mostly now with his leg in the air so just wondering if it is still attached?? Must say though you are keeping up the style!!not sure about the cleavage was that in the dreams?

Dad just gone to sunny Mexico for the week lucky him!!! As for you two figian sun! to me at the moment even blackpool would be exciting as lots of disasters happening in the household at the mo!! Ranging from disasterous carnival weather & Gazebo collapse with hardly no sales, to Dads car yet again breaking down, together with lots more not to mention on a public blog!!

glad you like the new pics! havent been able to do a skydive, woodkat booked one but weather cancelled it!! unfortunatley. im still considering it, but gota see weather! well done on getting placement. we are going (me, nic, phildabeast, pk, debs, lukey and co.) cyprus on aug 25th til sept 10th , woodkat going sept 1- sept 10th.

we are just in rotorowa at mo, iyts preety cool, we just looked around the thermal village and saw some mud pools and geysers etc.. got some good pics. we are just sorting out accomodation for fiji and our car stuff for the US.

PK and drock - we planning a BBQ party , i emailed PK the dets, let us know if that clashes etc.. with anything and if not try and get usual gang together should be fun. ill get my uni footy lads to play a footy match too! cool.

Barney now a FULL time Duve operative having failed 2 of his exams!!! Hes even thinking of buying a cut price house in Goldthorpe for 99p, & moving in with his boyfriend!!!! You may think we are going mad because we are pining for you Joe, however its more exhaustion having been up most of the night with a whirring head over YUM chaos!!!

Rosie been in trouble again at school just for speaking her mind & in her frustration called the work useless, or The teacher! Did I tell You that barnabys retakes are when we are all in Spain so our holidays in a bit of chaos, thats why weve booked cyprus with you!!!

Other news Turkey won but you may already know this so it looks like Germany have got to the final again!!

Alright lads, how is it going?

Have you been watching any euro 2008 games? Holland are the team on fire atm - bin pretty good. i got croatia in the work sweepstakes and they have qualified top of the group so im pretty happy with that.

The apprentice final was amazing, me and naomi went to sainsburys and had a late evening feast! just like uni!

I didnt make it up to lufbra at the weekend, but nic and the boys are about for a few weeks so thats okay. Oh and Andy is talking about getting a job in lufbra for a few weeks?! i totally dont understand the logic behind that.

I finished exams last week- went okay, but didnt excel as i would have liked to, its all a bit tight with work being ever so busy atm!

gossip girl got accepted onto her placement! that is the top news thats just in! so Dr. Gossip Girl will be her new name in a matter of years.

I liked Woodkat's video about postman's drop, that cracked me up. I think there was a sparkle there joe, perhaps you should consider tv or presenting?!

Granville street are off onto their south american expedition pretty soon, it sounds like they are all getting packed up and sorted, which will mean a whole half of FC Derelikct are touring the world. I just wonder how we fun these things.

Hello boys!

Thanks for the Fathersday mail which we got this morning. Went to the Sub Bar with Oli Jack and Barny last night for a few before watching the US Golf until 2pm. Went to bed and then took Oli to Physio for his Knee then on to work feeling washed up all day. Went to Notingham to watch the tennis yesterday and to York races on saturday. Never got near a winner all day !!! No didnt back any Greys !! Even lucky Jack didnt win. Hes still working hard and gone back to school for the next 4 weeks before the summer term ends. I blagged some Wimbledon tickets and I think Jack and Barney are off next week.

Not much news to report except Barney and Toby are home and are Part Time Duve employees until they can get something better.I had to give barney the hard word on Saturday morning, Sick in Bed after a couple of sherberts, OK in Nottingham but not OK back home. mums busy working away having a stall at Otley carnival selling cakes and stuff! Oli gives his house up in Sheff in Two weeks time and is also moving back home. Rosie queued up in Leeds yesterday for Party in the Park tickets and Opera in the Park tickets, and is off to Germany for Two weeks work experience from June 30th. Im off to Mexico next week for a week,

By the way have you given any thought to what you will be doing from Mid September on? Full time beach bum is not an option, however Rosie Dells wife next door says they are looking for georaphy graduates an cam get you an interview if you are interested.
