Hello everyone! So since our last blog, we took an hours flight down to Denang, Central Vietnam. We met a Canadian lad on the flight and so shared a taxi into central Hoian. Hoi An is SOOO much prettier than Hanoi, its warmer too, but rainy so still havent been able to pack away the rain coat~!~ The streets here are very pretty and they have A LITTLE less mopeds. The streets are FULL of tailors waiting to make you anything and everything you want, although i had to resist having a new wardrobe made because they wont have enough time to make it as we leave tomorrow, however, Gizz has had a lovely shirt made for about 8 pound. We went to My Son ( lots of temples) today which was about an hours journey away, it was very pretty but much was ruined by the bombings during the war. We are leaving Hoian tomorrow on a 12 hour night bus journey to Nha Trang in search for the sun we are yet to see!! Not looking forward to the journey but im sure the beach will be worth it. We are then going to head towards Ho chi Minh City and fly from there to the Thai Islands. We want to aim to leave before the Vietnamese new year kicks in as it gets very busy! They are already singing and dancing and partying in the street! We have had a very busy week and communication lacks a little in Vietnam, no facebook and no pay phones! So will contact when we can.
