Hello again! Well, we didnt make it to the Mexican! I havent been very well for the past two days, lets just say we needed to stay by a clean useable toilet!! So our last night in Nha Trang was spent watching Twilight in our hotel and Gizz got a take away pizza, was actually quite nice to do nothing! Today we left Nha Trang and the sun came out to say goodbye (typical!!) we got on a 4 hour bus journey to Dalat. There had been a mini mud slide on one of the mountains so the coach couldnt drive past so we had to get off walk over the mudheap and get on another coach.. lets just say i wasn`t very amused wearing flipflops ( that broke), so wearing no shoes and feeling ill and carrying a huge backpack. We were flilthy!!! Think it made some of the Vietnamese travellers laugh to see me and gizz sliding all over the place covered in thick mud! but they were lovely and offered us water, wetwipes and all the tissues they had!ha. So the rest of the journey was spent driving through picturesque moutains with waterfalls and flowers, just what we expected to find in Dalat, however, it was long before we were dissapoitned to find that Dalat was just as busy as every other vietnamese city, mopeds, pollution and noise!! ( we were expecting a bit of countryside). Our hotel is lovely though, ran by a nice vietnamese family and we have a balcony ( the little things make us happy) which overlooks the quiet bit of town, so we sat and chilled out on the balcony in the sun before going to visit Dalat`s `crazy house`. The crazy house was goos and very weird, its like a big treehouse with weird and wonderful paths and pretty lights! Think we have decided to leave here tomorrow on an 8 hour journey ( i hope i feel better!!) to Ho chi Minh City where we will spend a couple of nights before flying back to Bangkok on Tuesday and then down to the Islands on Wednesday! Hope all is ok at home, we will keep you posted on whether or not i make the 8 hour journey without being sick!!, lots of love xxxxxxxxxxx
