From Liptovský Mikuláš we hitch-hiked to Žilina to see a couple of castles there. There were two old guard castles (maybe keeps or forts I guess). One closer to the town which required a paid tour to see, the other further down which didn't. On Sunday the 22nd we arrive in Poprad at the base of the High Tatras. We had caught a few busses around this area over the last few days and had become pretty good at it. We were staying at a hostel here as we couldn't find a CS host. An American guy that we had met at the Cave of Liberty the other day gave us the name of this hostel. We actually got picked up quite quickly from Kosice which was nice because it was raining quite heavily. It was only a short trip to Prešov and we didn't really actually have anything planned there other than staying the night at Mario's friend Dominik's place and then heading off the next morning. Our driver was nice enough to drop us right at the front door of Dominik's place though and then even wait with us to make sure we had the right place before leaving....
