Krabi- RailaySa Wii Dii Kha!After a 12 hour journey and the dissapointment of Petchaburi behind us we arrived in Krabi. We caught a long tail boat to the backpackers Island of Hat Ton Sai.The Island was extremely small but beautiful, and surrounded by limestone cliffs perfect for the many climber on the island. It was here that we found our worst accomodation. Wer stayed in a hut with no hot water, or water at all the first day, no electricity, and therefore lights to see until the hour of 6pm and no solid walls. We had monkeys crawling in thr room through the holes in the roof, what a nightmare. They stole natalies Oreos, they had no manners!I spent most of the day expolring the Island and sunbathing on the beach, watching the tide come in it was so beautiful. I also got talking to one of the locals working at the restaurant we stayed near. It was a learning experience for me as he refused to serve me unless I spoke in Thai! My new phrase book came in very handy. I managed to order food, say thank you, ask him his name and tell him my name... I was very impressed with myself! The next day was spent doing pretty much the same thing, except in the evening I got talking to some travellers and went out with them to a bar to watch a fire show on the beach. It was really cool! We spent the whole night swapping stories from all over the world. One guy from Italy had been teaching English in China for a year, there was another guy from Germany and a guy from London. I had a really good night, it was so nice to hear about other places, but it definately got me wanting to explore more of the world! There just is no enough time!
