RainbowBeach
After Noosa we had another compulsory stop on the Oz buses that lead us to RainbowBeach. I literally have no idea why anyone would stop there. There is nothing to see except a surf club and a beach which you have to see from a distance as it is renowned for being a breeding ground for Tiger sharks. There was no way on earth I was going to meet any sharks. It's so strange before you come to Australia you can't help but worry about all the creatures that can kill you, but once you're here you forget about it until someone reminds you! There have been shark attacks pretty much every week I have been here, the most shark attacks in Australia for decades and I have seen snakes and spider, both poisonous and harmless, it doesn't really shock me anymore!
We ended up just staying the night here in one of the four hostels (don't ask me why there are so many hostels in such a small place) and then headed to HerveyBay!
