We were awoken this morning with butterflies flying around in our stomaches due to pre exam result nerves! There was a sigh of relief at the breakfast table after everybody found out their brilliant results (no more walking on egg shells for us!). We had to dash straight away after breakfast as ambitious Abraham, (obviously holly came up with this) was awaiting our arrival. We trekked to the women's association with our heads held high- even though we were all feeling a little snoozy. As we arrived at the association the women and children were sat eagerly waiting for what the day was going to bring. We started the day with three groups; one group making bunting with the women, another making pipe cleaner teddy bears with older children and the last group playing games and singing with the younger children. After 2 hours of fun-filled craft and games we left for a much enjoyed lunch prepared by the Kasbah (Which is most definitely our favourite place to eat!) . After finishing our food, Abraham guided us back to the women's association where we spent the afternoon teaching English! The English lessons were a great success thanks to Abraham (of course) who helped us with the language barrier! The second part of the afternoon was spent being invited into the women and children's homes where we were given more than enough Moroccan mint tea and biscuits; some of us even got invited down stairs to see the animals. Sarah B had the fright of her life when a sheep jumped up right behind her at head height- luckily the wool prevented a head injury! We then hiked back to the Kasbah, stopping half way to rest so Abraham didn't miss prayer at the Mosque. We then arrived back at the Kasbah and the plunge pool was waiting for us to delve into! After a chilling dip in the spa we freshened up and ate our heart out on the moonlit terrace. After finishing our fave dish of spag-bol; #justcantgetenough , we had a sing a long beneath the stars before getting ready for bed!
