We arrived safely last night to a hot, drizzly morocco. We were greeted by our tour guide Sidi who will be with us for the rest of our 10 days. We walked through the dark back streets of Marrakech to get to our hotel. The roads were very busy and we had to concentrate hard to try dodge mopeds. The hostel we stayed in was very nice and comfortable with lots of mosaic detail and a central swimming pool. For our evening meal we were suprised with a vegetable soup and meat kebabs that were cooked in front of us. We had a promt start this morning and we had a lovely moroccan cake for breakfast. We visited the local bank to exchange money and now we're on the minibus having a guide through the village and up to Ilmil. Keep checking for photos and updates...

Later in the evening...

It feels like we have been here that much longer than 24 hours! Once arriving at Imlil we have a 10 minute walk (more like half an hour aha) to our new home for now! Fun fact: this hotel has been used as a film set and celebs such as Daniel Craig, Jude law and Brangelia have stayed here. Lunch was a three course meal #standard.

We conquered Morocco's answer to Mt Everest, which gave us a chance to "aclamatise" ourselves (take loads of pictures and videos - using the Gopro). We came back to freshen up and look forward to future adventures.
