What a day of rushing and excitement! We started the day of with breakfast at our Chalet and then boarded the Bergman bus with Hansen Bergmann himself! 2 hours later after a wonderful chorus of Happy Birthday and card exchange, we arrived at the youth hostel here in Geneva,Switzerland. Our plans to visit the UN faltered when we got there and the tour was full, but being the resourceful girl Guides that we are, we went sightseeing instead. After an hour power nap, we set out for burgers at '' The Holy Cow ''. Oh did I forget to mention that we were 16 girls all dressed the same complete with foam crowns for the girls and a fuzzy pink plastic crown for moi? We were quite the sight to see :) After dinner we took a boat across lake Geneva to a festival of some sort. We jammed out to old french guys playing guitar, rode a ferris wheel and ate an array of sweets! My wonderful troop then proceeded to sing my happy birthday in french and English! I honestly owe my happiness on my birthday to the girls in my group, even though I had no biological family I had my girl guide sisters and mothers to make me feel special. To the concerned parents: WE ARRIVED SAFE AND SOUND AND EVERYONE IS FEEING BETTER!
