The morning started off like any other morning, a little upsetting that this was the start of our last day with our new friends. However we still had an entire day with them, today was the day that we were to hike Elsigen. Our group opted for the 2 hour low road route to the base of the mountain, gondola up to the Alp where we ate lunch and some went for a swim in a man made lake, it was a very hot day! When lunch ended 9 people from our group continued on to the summit of Elsigen. It was a really steep hike! A few slips, many breaks and some convincing later we had finally made it to the top! The view and breeze were really worth it! I felt really accomplished after the 2 hour hike to get to the summit! Before we headed down we went to a near by field and saw some edelweiss
They were so pretty, even though they were a lot smaller then I had expected them to be. The hike back wasn't as hard though, it only took us an hour and 10 minutes to get to the gondola that was taking us to the base of the mountain.
When we got back the walk up to the attic was brutal. Most of us just wanted to go back to sleep, but dinner started soon so we switched into our 100 years shirt, grabbed our sharpies and headed down to the dinning hall. The chicken carbonara and pasta tasted like the best food in the world, and the mini doughnuts for dessert were awesome!
After dinner we headed over to the campfire to end our time together. A few of us decided to do the Our Chalet challenge. And were awarded the badge during camp fire.
When it was our groups turn to sing a song we did the moose song and realize that it was still possible to screw up a song we could sing while sleeping. Opps!
The night ended with us packing the last few things into our bags and going to bed for some well deserved shut eye

Ps. We are all safe :)
