HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!

Hope you all had a good new years eve?! We went to Sydney Harbour to watch the fireworks and they were brilliant!! We ( sarah, pete, kim and kims 2 friends from home abi and tony) took the train down into sydney for NYE. It was a 2 hr journey which we helped pass by through drinking our carefully concealed goon (what the ozzies call wine from a box [from the aboriginal word for pillow, i.e. the silver bag inside]) in our water bottles. There were so many weirdo's on the train and around the streets!! this country is full of them!!!!

We sat right on the waterfront on a jetty to watch the fireworks, and played cards to pass the time as we waited!! then we ran straight to the train station and just about caught the train!! again we were stuck in a carriage with crazy ppl!! a guy threatening to throw his son onto the train tracks for answering his mobile al the time!!! nuts - he even tried to beat him up, so we made a sharp exit!!!

We got back to our hostel quite late and slept until midday!! we are getting like the crazy guy in our dorm, who literally sleeps all day and all night!!! he has loads of weird library books about his bed about aliens, abductions, inner peace, self consciousness and other loony stuff!!! and when he does get out of bed he wears this weird hat that looks like a condom!!!!! weirdo!!!

well thats it for us, think we are heading back to the coast cos it is freezing all the time here!! went for a walk in the rainforest yesterday and got caught in this torrential downpour!! only sarah was slightly organised and had her kag, although that did not even keep her dry!!! so its back to the sun for us - beaches yey!!!!!!!!
