Today we picked up Aunty Anna, Catherine and Clare and drove a short way to Falkland. Had a lovely lunch at the tea rooms and then a little shopping in the quaint craft shops in this little town. Today we headed into Edinburgh to do the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Claire meet us at the Castle and her niece Fiona works there and was able to get us in free which was great. Friday 15/8: off to St Andrews today with Helen. Travelled through lovely countryside along the coast to St. Andrews and arrived in this historic town to be greeted with the lucky park (Olivia you know what I mean). Our second day in Scotland and Bill was kind enough to drop us both into Dunfermline. We headed off down the high street toward the abbey and the gardens (the glen) which were lovely and very well maintained. The abbey is very historic and the resting place of Robert the Bruce.
