Mon 17th - up early this morning as we wanted to go for a swim before we left fo Koh smaui. Alothough it was just a short ferry crossing to Samui we were not looking forward to it as the sea had been so choppy last time. So after leaving Chiang Mai at 6pm, we arrived in Bangkok at 6am and as we wanted to get down to Koh Pha-Ngan for the Full Moon Party on the 12th we had to travel on bus for around 35+ hours - fun times. We arrived in Chiang Mai three hours later than expected and were dropped off a fiar bit out of town - we headed to a place in lonely planet - it was run by a very eccentric Scottish man - he loved the fact we were scottish - sat us down started playing different types of scottish music making us guess who it was etc - to keep us occupied while our room was made up!
