Leaving Cuenca we spent allday on a bus to get back out to the coast to a town called Puerto Lopez to go Whale Watching. Puerto Lopez... Hmmm not a great township, but well worth the visit. We paid just $20 for a day trip out into the Pacific Ocean on a rickety old boat in choppy conditions to seek out the biggest creatures to of ever graced this earth, the blue whale.
