Well we've been back about a month and are slowly settling into normal life again following our intrepid travels. It's back to old routines but with some changes and those are mainly dietary. We dont want to regain the weight lost on the trip and yes it's going to be a tough call. Grant's time is spent applying to universities and apprenticeships in the engineering industry. Holidays are looming and we're walking in a Christmas Zombieland. It seems weird as everyone is in the Christmas spirit and in Cardiff that involves marauding shoppers and extra passengers on the trains which the train company doesnt bother to cater for. Ho Hum....or Bah Humbug.
Winter has set in although we've yet to see sub zero temperatures. It's been wet though and as is normal in the World's Number One Holiday Destination, it could get wetter. It'll soon be time for our family and friends bash at our bar Wifey McBeaties and so we've been having a bit of a tidy up. We made a pile of Ales and wines before we set off in September, so all the brews have matured nicely. The Strawberry Rose is great and there's a selection of Ales and Ciders. Most of it will disappear when the hordes descend. We're looking forward to seeing everyone and should be fun.
Nightime sees Grant & myself heading to Cwm Darren lake for our daily dose of exercise and we spend at least 30 minutes doing a power walk. It's always bracing up there and lately there's been howling winds and cyclonic lashings of rain. There's also been some good thunder and lightning. We do get weather here even if it isnt the sort that you want.
