...and for this section dear reader I am reaching into my rucksack, pulling out the Aluminium Foil and making myself a tin foil hat, which I will now place on my swede.......
Since we started this trip, we keep seeing many doppelgangers....of famous people, friends and workmates. So much so that me and Grant have started pointing them out to each other....it's really weird...they are almost exactly the same but with very slight differences. Now I would suggest that if you are in an unfamilar place, try looking around ...and maybe it's not just us who are ready to be sectioned...... this begs the question...are we living in a computer generated simulation? Perhaps the creator of the life game is running out of megabytes and that computer space is being saved by having copies of existing avators placed into our reality simulation....
Here's a strange example of the simulation.....last night after talking to Juan and the locals in the Rock Bar the only word in Welsh they wanted to know was Biscuit? Okay the Welsh word for Biscuit is Bisgedi (which makes us sound really intelligent...doh!)......but why would the word biscuit come up?
After wandering Santander and seeing everyone from Abe Lincoln to Frank Zappa........the late actor Peter Lorre boarded the same train carriage as us....honestly it was Peter Lorre! As we began to relax on the train...there was this munching crunching sound coming from in front of me....anyone who knows me knows that I cant stand the sound of people eating, so I stood up to see who the offender was.....I looked down and saw a bloke was diving into a massive bag of Biscuits.....so I looked up and was met with the doleful eyes of Peter Lorre with a mouthful of biscuits going munch munch munch......
This forced me to evacuate the train carriage and I was forced to go to the buffet car and stand up all the way to our next destination.....I was also forced to drink beer as they sold it there........as I said...are we living in a computer generated simulation.....
I am now removing my tin foil hat and putting it back into my rucksack.
Normal travel blogging will resume.
Thank you.......

RAY Mrs P and I sat behind Mother, Father and Son in the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham rustling and munching on Grab Bags for the whole duration of the latest Scorsese movie "Killers of The Flower Moon". 3 hours+. Matinee screening. Homicidal... I feel your pain! 😡
HK Steve I see more and more doppelgängers as I get older, I put it down to a brain that is trying to distort images to make my life more interesting than it actually was. I was looking as some anniversary stuff from my old School in Hong Kong, I couldnt recognise people I spent 7 years in school with!!!. I hate it when that beer thing happens too, although these I rarely drink, I dont get the same enjoyment out of it anymore.
