Today is when we have to sort things out. that means the hassle of getting stuff washed etc. It's too cold for the socks and grundies to dry and so take the stuff to Adam's Laundry up the road. Adam sells handicraft goods out the front and has the washing machines out the back. Next up, we have to start sorting out the next leg and it's a hassle. Greetings from Istanbul. it took a while, but finally we arrived. The bus from Pamukkale took 13 hours, the longest bus ride I've ever taken. There's not a lot you can say about a 13 hour bus ride except that at GBP21 each it was excellent value, there was a waiter service, free snacks and soft drinks. It was now about 8.30pm, so now what do we do? The local taxi drivers come up and start asking us where we're going . They ask why dont we take a taxi........well, number one it's going to be lumpy but they are willing to negotiate, this takes 15 minutes and come to an agreement, they'll charge the same as the bus fare for both of us plus 20 Euros.
