The sun came out today for Liam's birthday, perfect timing for us to visit the Big Buddha in Lantau!
Dad arrived last night and took us out to the night spots and markets in kawloon - dads crazy in Hong Kong and ordered us a Shisha!!

We've hired him as our tour guide for the next two days...kinda wish he was here the whole trip as he pays for cabs and stays in better hotels with free wifi! It's handy having him around! :)! On a serious note though it has been great seeing him in his favourite place!

So today for Liam's birthday were off up to the Big Buddha! There's free wifi in the queue so you may notice there's a lot of facebook activity from Liam and I! Dad on the otherhand is working...i did wonder why he brought his tablet along. Celebrations then continue tonight when we go up to the peninsula for cocktails and to see the light show!

We leave tomorrow night so have planned in Stanley Market..one of the top tourist sites! Finally somewhere we may be able to find a decent breakfast...our meal to date haven't been easy to find I must say!

We're actually loving Hong Kong- wish we were here longer as there is so much more to see! Think we're both looking forward to some proper heat though as its been quite cold here! How's England btw? Cold? :)
