hey again!! 1st things 1st - gotta say a MASSIVE thank you to my family in america for the best start possible to my adventure!! had a fab 2 weeks with them, it went way too fast and im counting down til the next time we all catch up...love you lots and thanks for the tour guides, chats, memories and fun!!! ; ) as for today; settled in christchurch at the moment...first night in the city and im feeling very weird!! we crossed the international date line yesterday on the flight from LA to Auckland so i lost a day of my life!! how weird!! its an odd feeling and im not feeling very human at the moment! ha! but all is good...christchurch is very english and very cold!! like going back into winter but it is so pretty! a lot quieter than i expected but we are livening it up!! tomorrow is just to get to know the area then we booked a trip today to see Karikoura and the whales and Hunuri and the hot springs on saturday!! lush!! cant wait!! should be fun to chill in the hot pools and hopefully see the hump back whales too!! bonus!! also, on monday me and maz are guna try our feet at skiing!!! woohoo!! heading to mt hutt to test the slopes and our arm/leg co-ordination ability!! should be a laugh if nothing else...ha! hoping to start the kiwi tour next weekend sometime so we dant start our tour of the islands here and venture out into new zealand and all the different areas...we just cooked our first meal - sweet and sour chicken! mmm! but slight problem...maz didnt know i cant cook! u oh! should be a bit of a mission!! ; ) anyways, will keep you posted of all the latest news from this part of the world...thinking of you and hope to hear from you real soon! its all been a bit of a whirl wind the past couple of days so looking forward to taking some of this stuff in!!! take care and love you lots, Georgie x x x
