well im sitting in a little hostel called annies in the middle of pretty much nowhere!!! actually its alice springs about 1500km from anywhere else!! ; ) its absolutley roasting - never felt heat quite like this! 38 degrees and the only place ive ever known gets hotter when the wind blows!!! crazy! landed this morning from sydney and certainly a contrast to the built up city! town consists of 5 streets lined with little shops selling traditional aborigine carvings and didgeredoo's (not sure on the spelling yet!!) ; ) and cafes selling water like hot cakes!!! we've booked ourselves onto a tour for the next two days travelling to Kings Canyon, The Olgars and Ayres Rock (Uluru) We are camping out tomorrow night and i cant wait to see the sky night filled with stars and shooting stars!!! awesome!! we also get to see ayres rock by sunset and sunrise...two things i could only dream of! definately an exciting filled couple of days before flying up to carins on friday...busy times!! i hope all is well back with you all and will speak to you all very soon. much love from a deserted georgie! ; ) x x x
