I booked onto the hostels free shuttle and we headed to Ocean Beach to walk the sunset cliffs. However, the weather wasn't on our side and was overcast with a forecast of rain. After spending an hour on the beach we divided to head to the Old town by bus.

The old town felt like the real San Diego, we had a Mexican burrito and strawberry margarita in style. The clouds had parted and the sun was shining so we headed back to the beach.

Within 5 minutes of lying on the beach the clouds returned and the wind picked up. Our time at the beach was very short lived!
