We have spent the last few days in Merimbula where we met up with two couples who had planned their trip so we could come down and catch up with them. For the past few days we have been following the Prince's Highway down the coast to meet friends in Merimbula. First stop was Nowra, and the best thing I can say about Nowra is it's a good thing the Tourist Info Centre is on the edge of town. We have spent the last two days at Tea Gardens Country Club (doesn't that sound posh). Of course we are only staying in the car park, but we do get power. Not bad for $11 a night. For the past three days we have been making our way down the New South Wales coast. But the nice towns on the coast have very little free camping or showgrounds, so we have zigzagged in and out - beaches by day, showgrounds in inland country towns by night.
