Hi All!

Just a quicky here for today. We spent 2 hours travelling the channels (not the canals) of Venice by boat today. It seems like a lovely city and Genny and I are looking forward to exploring it on our own tomorrow.

We disembark tomorrow morning at 0745 local time and will be enjoying a full day and night on our own in Venice before hopping on a train to Rome.

We'll be trying to find internet cafe's with good rates along the way, but if things are too expensive, I won't be posting too many blogs!

I'm nearing the end of my paid for internet here on the ship, so this will be short (plus, not too much to say, yet!).

But my fun tidbit for the day is that there is a bridge near the old prison in Venice. It's called the bridge of sighs, because as people were taken to prison there, it's said that they'd sigh, knowing that that was where their lives would end.
