Hi Everyone!

It has been a while since I have posted a blog... I apologize! It has been crazy busy here in Rome.

Since the last blog, Genny and I have taken our first train! We took first class eurostar railway from Venice to Roma Termini station.

We are staying at the Best Western Hotel President here in Rome, which is affiliated with Rioscoli Hotels. We have the BEST concierge ever, 2 internet cafes within a block and an amazing restaurante called Aisha just a few doors down.

Genny and I have eaten at Aisha 3 meals in a row now, and let me tell you... if you ever go to Rome, stay in this hotel and eat all of your meals except for continental breakfast at Aisha. It is amazing value, amazing food, a great place to stay... and only a mile from the Colloseum. Also, two steps from the hotels door is the Manzoni metro station. The metro can get you just about anywhere in the city during the day.

On our first few days we took the hop on hop off bus and did a fly by photoshoot of most of the major sights in the city. After that, we booked specific tours for what we wanted to see more of. We took a night tour of the city, and looked at things like the Vatican and the Trevi fountain lit up. Very beautiful.

Today, we had the opportunity to do something that many people only dream about... Not only did we see the Vatican Museums, but we got to see the Wednesday Papal Audience and thus were blessed by the Pope. Tomorrow is Ascention Thursday, too. So Ive now been blessed by the Pope.

We also got an awesome view of the Roman forum this afternoon, then went to St Paul (outside the walls). What a beautiful, beautiful church with such gorgeous gardens outside. The entrance leading up to the tomb of St. Paul is 5 loooong naves. We got to see part of Mass there as well.

Tomorrow we have one more tour called *Christian Rome* and then we begin the trek home on Friday! Cant wait to see you all soon.
