hello! from the land of gorgeous beaches, green curries and smiling people! yes weve left the open plan toilets behind (although heads up to the Price clan, Becks may need counselling on that one, its mentioned alot! sorry) so this is just a wee catch up i guess only i've forgotten where we were up to that always helps doesnt it ........ oh well i'll check later and fill you in, what i have no problems remebering is the last few days, our exit from china! so we figured planes are far too bad for environment and thought we'd get the 12 hour sleeper coach out of Guilin through to the chinese border. theres a couple of things wrong with that sentence firstly the sleeper bit, i'll throw a picture on later but just imagine open plan straight jacket beds and you wont be far wrong, glad i'm short anyway! so having not slept much i noticed a sign when we were about an hour late already for shenzen (border ish) 198km! in total we were 5 hours late which did test our plan just a bit but after a speedy taxi, a very fast boat, a very slow border crossing into macau, another hectic taxi, we reached our first flight from macau to bangkok, we were in macau approx 25 mins?? first flight uneventful, second we very almost missed but becks did some sweet talking i think to the check in desk while i grabbed the bags off the first flight and lugged them both up to departures lounge, think i may be too old for this backpacking lark! :o) but made it and 27 hours after starting trip we arrived in phuket and collapsed into pretty much the first place we saw amd got boat yesterday out to phi phi!!!!! its gorgeous as ever and really getting back straight but i'll let becks tell you that another day shes off diving so no doubt she'll pop an excitable entry on about that later in week! so hope everyone is good, oh and carrey, becks may wear her phone out soon looking at the pic of aimee standing up! :o) love gem xx and to all the payar crew guess who weve been having the odd beverage with here on phi phi? the lovely kev!! he's instructing here and last night we even had a drink before beer o clock!! :o)
