Had a very early start this morning to go daytripping to Australia Zoo in Beerwah and, CRIKEY, it was ace!

We went to the Wildlife Warriors Show in the Crocatorium (I kid you not, everything had Irwin-esque names) where the zoo keepers entertained all the children on their school holidays with performing birds, elephants, snakes and crocodiles. Jim and I loved it too though. And I, in particular, behaved like a child all day posing next to photos of Steve Irwin, petting kangaroos and paying to cuddle koalas. Talking of which, koalas are officially the cutest creatures in the WHOLE world! We also saw wombats (bizarre), tigers, leopards, komodo dragons and loads more crocs. So, in summary, it wasn't quite as cool as the Zooniverse from The Mighty Boosh but it came a close second.

Anyway, I'm back in Brizzie now and will be hopping back on the Greyhound tomorrow to spend the day at Surfer's Paradise before heading further down to Byron Bay in the evening.
