Hi all!! So, last night I spent the night in the desert after participating in a spot of sandboarding, which is wicked!! We journeyed into the desert on sandbuggies that literally flew over the dunes. At the end of our boarding sesh we went down a very steep hill on our boards into an area where they had put on a BBQ and free flowing Peru Libra's!! Needless to say that today I have been a little unwell! Hmmm. The sky last night in the desert was amazing though, can't describe the stars to you, so beautiful, very strange however, waking up with sand in your face not knowing where you are. Tomorrow i'm up in a 5 seater small plane to fly over the mysterious phenomenon that is the Nazcar Lines. Should be wicked!! Ok, so the last time I e'mailed was in Huraz, good, not too long ago. When in Huraz we visited the Chavin ruins. They were amazing and I thoroughly recommend that you go if you can. Basically they are situated in the middle of some mountains and were the center of the Chavin religion nearly 3000 years ago! It would be equivalent to visiting Mecca or the Vatican so I found it really interesting! Since then we stayed in Lima for a couple of nights and have picked up some more people for our group. They are all lovely and are fitting in well. There are two Irish guys who are hysterical so we're all having giggles. The tripo seems to have picked up its pace now but we're all having the best time. I myself am a lot happier now that my hangover has gone, felt really bad earlier but hey ho!
