Well, I thought I’d add a short section on the food, even though I covered the main things in the first blog entry I wrote. I am sure that I will gradually add to this as I experiment more with the food here, but this is it for now:
The BBQ restaurants seem to be really common here and I have been out to eat about 6 times now and I think all but 2 of those time have been to the BBQ restaurants! The other places I have been out are to Pizza Hut and also to a steak restaurant in Seoul, where quite strangely they offered me to option of having my steak cooked medium - well, but then when I opted for that they refused and told me it will be cooked medium!! The result was very pink, but the sauce hid the fact so it was still rather tasty!
It took me a while to find foods to eat here as things seem to be so different to back home and some things that were common at home seem to be non-existent here!
My staples have therefore become chicken stir fry (home made) and pasta and my homemade tuna pate for lunch which is delicious (even if I do say so myself)!!

Barbara Sep08 So glad I popped over to your site today. Just pre-ordered my copy. It will also be a prfeect gift for our new kindergarten teacher and our former preschool teacher. Wishing you the best of luck, although I'm thinking your talent and vision are more than enough to make this book wildly successful.
