Completely covered in mozzie bites we decided to go for more beach relaxation as we knew we would have a hectic schedule ahead. Again not much to say really as we didn't do much.
The beaches were very quiet again and were almost perfect. Long wide stretches of white sand for us to choose from, it was great for a few days to sunbathe and go swimming in the sea, although we had to be careful as a few tourist had been stung by jellyfish the week before...i didn't want anything else to complain about!
The best thing (so Matthew thought) was the fact that the island was duty free, therefore the beer and cigs were a lot cheaper than anywhere else, in fact they were back to India prices...so obviously we had a bit more to drink. One night, after a gorgeous meal (fish again) we went to a bar that had a free pool table. Matthew kicked my arse a few times and then decided to do the same to a few Germans who thought they would be able to beat him, that pleased us a lot.
The only other thing to mention was the amount of building work that was going on close to where we were staying and very close to the beach. I do hope that someone with at least one brain cell can see how this will effect the beauty of this beach, no one wants to come to a mini Benidorm in Malaysia.
The next day we just relaxed and planned our route for the next few weeks. Next stop Bangkok.
