Hi everyone! Cant believe we are a month in already! Hope everyone is well. Thanks so much for all my messages left, I love reading them and they really make me happy when i read them all! So in Australia already! We have been in Perth just under a week, had a really good time mainly just chilling out and not getting up to much, but after South Africa its really nice to do nothing but lay on the beach! We have had good weather for a couple of days since we have been here so have been to the beach and tried to catch a tan, getting there slowly! The beach is called Cottesloe Beach - it was really beautiful. Because we have come out of season it was really quiet and just a few other people were there. Didnt swim but paddled as still not quite warm enough to go completely in! Perth is a really nice place. Everywhere is so clean and well kept its so good. We caught the train to the beach and the trains run on time and also are very clean, honestly it is so different from back home. Been into the city and looked round the shops and that. There are some really nice bars here which we've been to as well. We leave tommorrow, we have got an overland train which will take us to Sydney. We have got 2 days on the train 1st and we are going to stop off at Adelaide for a few days and probably go to kangaroo island. It then takes a day to get to Sydney from there. It is really hard to get you head around the time difference and when we get over to the east coast i think your like 10 or 12 hours behind cause at the moment it is 7. I called dan 3am here so i could catch him when he got in from work! Met loads of really nice people, everyone is so friendly! I have got my ear pierced again! I will send a photo for you to have a look! Uploading pictures has finally been done! only took me and mel 1 1/2hours to do it! Never mind we've done it now.
