OH MY WORD! We have never ever done anything so hard as climbing Mount Kinabalu. Apparently (according to the leaflet) anyone with average fitness can climb this mountain, well every single single person we spoke to said this was WRONG! Including a guy who had been to Everest Base Camp (who we beat to the summit I might add!). It was a 6km up to our guesthouse in the mountain. We arrived in Kota Kinabalu after a two and a half hour flight on Air Asia, which we were a bit worried about but it was really good in the end! It was so nice to get to a cuty again after so many beaches! We had an evening of watching dvds in the hotel room as they had loads of new releases out on the market stalls.
