Ah, I had a good night last night. I met some Australians who were staying in the same hostel as me and went out to a five storey club with them. They disappeared about 4 in the morning and I had to try and find the way back to the hostel, unfortunately I hadn't been paying attention to which way we had come and it took me another hour of wandering to streets to find the hostel again. Luckily I had a mysterious happy glow about me that might have had something to do with the absinthe the club served, so I plodded happily around Prague in the aerly hours.
Today I climbed to the top of a tower i the middle of the city, giving me a great view of Prague. It really is a very picturesque, old city. A lot of the shops are shut today because of Easter, but there's still plenty to do. The place is packed with tourists though, I saw three of them back to back taking pictures in different directions on one street (A street full of macdonalds and marks and spencers, the truly great sights of the Czech Republic). It amazes me at how westernised Prague is given that it's only been 18 years since it was a communist country, now there's a macdonalds on every corner and you can hear English, American and Aussie voices more than Czech.
