Arrived in Hoi An which is a lovely little town. Its heavily influenced by Chinese and Japanese architecture 'cause of the trade back in the 18/1900s which makes it quite quaint (for want of a better word). There's not much here except riverside restaurants, the old town & an abundance of tailor shops. Gaz found a good one and had two suits made which we thought were excellent quality but maybe our mums willthink differently - we felt extremely inexperienced when confronted with the many different fabrics, linings, styles and the list goes on. As Gaz put it "a suits a suit". The old town was lovely which we went around on one of the days. We went to an old house, an assembly hall, the japanese bridge and the museum of history and culture. Also went to a folk music show (incl in the price of the ticket!!!) & although the music wasn't to our taste it was quite entertaining. The dancing was amazing especially 2 Vietnamese girls dancing with clay pots - sounds random i know but they were so elegant - they were really beautiful.
