SUNDAY 16TH DECEMBER 2006

Bussed it down to Vang Vieng which was interesting!A lad sat next to me carrying an AK47! Obv I performed excellently under pressure! Turns out he was a goody tho so weve still got hold of all our cash! Vang Vieng is an odd one- small s***ty town with only a few streets but set in gorgeous surroundings with class things to do day and night! Stayed up to watch Chelsea followed by United- wish we hadnt bothered!lolCheers Bugs! Bottlers!

MONDAY 18TH DECEMBER 2006

Went tubing down the river that flows next to the town- basically floating in a tractor tyre inner tube! This place is mint!!!!!All the way down there are bars selling BEER LAO with massive rope swings and zip lines!Beer and swinging (not that type)!What more could you ask for??? At night went to this bar which had a campfire in the middle and live music (which I actually enjoyed listenin to -mark and Rich!

TUESDAY 19TH DECEMBER 2006

Signed up for a kayaking/caving trip which involved going into a water cave wearing mining hats which was cool, (bit claustrophobic at times) having a barbie next to the river watching all the local kids play, and then kayaking down the river. We were in a two man kayak which was a relationship tester to start off with (mainly my crap kayaking skills which Kym took great pleasure in pointing out) And then obv stopping off at a bar for a beer and some more fun on the way home!I could stay in this place for weeks, the days are fun packed n they have friends (the programme) on a loop in the comfy bars in the street) But fun as it is this isnt exactly what we came to S.E. Asia for so were moving on to Vietanne on Thursday after one more day on the river soakng up the beers and rays with this Canadian lad.
