Today we have travelled about 150 klms south-west of Darwin to Litchfield national park. There are many waterfalls and swimming holes around within a short drive and walk, some with crocodiles and some without. Kathy and mick will be joining us for two nights. Pretty hot here but the worst part is after having a cold shower drying yourself and then you start leaking and can't pull your clothes on.
I haven't been sleeping well because of the humidity, it's been 21/22 most nights. When you wake up your clothes are damp. If you leave washing on the line o'night it is very damp in the morning. It is burn-off season because they have such a lot of long dry grass. The landscape looks black but makes a good contrast to the bright green new growth.
