Today we travelled from New York to the Hyatt French Quarter. There was a warmth about our greeting that we had not experienced for some time. Yesterday was a highlight day with an early flight to Buffalo and taxi to Niagara Falls. After dropping our bags at the hotel we walked across the Rainbow bridge to the Canadian side. We had a great first morning in New York with bagels for brunch whilst we waited for our photo cruise out to the Statue of Liberty. Today we had a good walk around the shopping areas and squares of Madrid. At lunch time we had lunch at the San Miguel market which was a fancy food court in an old market building . After return to the hotel we took up our booking at the Hannam Arab Baths which was just a great experience, hopping between lovely pools of varying temperatures, before a relaxing scrub and massage.
