Now for an update on our first full day in Prague. As has been our continued good fortune the sky was blue and the day hot with a prevailing cool breeze. We did a Prague in one day tour starting with a coach ride around the city to be followed by a walk around Prague castle. The tour stopped for lunch on the walk down at a lovely restaraunt with expansive views over the city. All the terracotta roofs reminded me of Sydney in the old days. We made our way down to the river for a boat cruise under and around the Charles Bridge and eventually finished in time to get to the hotel and dine before attending a nearby theatre to see excertpts from Swan Lake. Somehow a greater appreciation of the gracefulness of the Swan having seen so many on the waterways and lakes that we have experience over the last two weeks.
