This morning I was woken up by people leaving for the Fraser Island tour. They were up from 6 messing about packing bags, showering, just annoying me really. Thank god at 7:20 the last one left the room. Leaving only me, in the dorm of 8 beds. I know more people will arrive today, but I managed to sleep a bit more in the quiet. Before the cleans came around, I switched to the bottom bunk! Moving all my sheets and stuff. 2 good reasons for doing this. First , I bloody hate the top bunk, I might have said this once or twice. Second, it's right next to the plug socket.

I had a warm shower before heading to the centre and treated myself to a cooked breakfast. It was so good, and for the first time it had baked beans! It didn't last long and I cleared my plate, except for the grilled tomato. The weather was really grey today, I walked down to the beach where I found a bench to read my book over looking the beach, the waves crashing against the sand. I had a jumper on, that's how cold it was. I'd picked up a packet of tim tam's which was a big mistake as I ate the whole packed while reading my book. They arent just any biscuit, they are a chocolate biscuit. The best way to explain, they are like penguin chocolate bars. But as I said I ate a whole pack... Like eating 12 penguins! Oops... Note to self, don't buy anymore tim tam's. I had also got stuff to cook for dinner from the shop, well it would only need heating up.

When I got back to the hostel I started to do the really fun stuff... Washing! After Fraser Island some of my stuff was covered in sand...! I guess that's what you get when you spend 48 hours on an island made from the stuff. It took about 2 hours and my stuff to be cleaned, dryed, folded and retuned to my rucksack. I finally finished the hunger games 3rd book, leaving it on my bed. I was sat in between two of the bunk beds charging my iPad, when a girl walks in screaming "where is this boy gone!?" I said I was here and waved, I guess she couldn't see my feet. She had my book in her hand, saying could she borrow it, she'd read it all except the last 10 pages.! Of course I let her!

I was walking to the kitchen about to cook my microwave rice and tin of chilli, however on route I noticed they have a restaurant. So I took the food back to my room as it would keep and ordered some hot food, and a pint. A guy started to play live music which was really cool. Really enjoy it, he even sung the Gotya song...! I has finished my meal and my beer and decided I wanted to stick around for the live music so got another round in.! The pint only lasted 30 minutes then I headed to bed. Another quiet day, I think if the weather was better I would have done more. Looking forward to Noosa and the weather looks like its going to be warm for the next week!!
