Scarcely able to breathe up here at all. Crossed the moraine in burning sunshine and ran out of water! The dogs better be bloody grateful!

Amazing views of Everest on the way. A Thai mountaineering expedition made an attempt on the summit but didn't quite make it. When we got to base camp they were all in their tents drinking tea!

Tough walk back to Gorak Shep where we tried to make satellite phone calls home with mixed success!
