Hello from relaxation central!
Were still in Luang Prabang, its so hot you cant move too fast or your ringing wet within 2 minuites.
Toleks birthday party was a realy special thing to experience. The whole family gathered in the living room around a floral sculpture with candles. We made wishes to Tolek. We tied Threads around each others wrists and wished luck Love and health etc, tieying a different knot for every wish we gave to one another. It was very special.
Sunday we went in to the town and just bimbled about. We had lunch down by the Mekong River. I had steamed fish and Garath had steamed fish in banana leaves, it was very nice. Later that night we had dinner with an english couple we had met at the Guest House. We went to Laos Laos Garden and all had water buffalo burgers, which were a bit red we think as garath had a bit of a sicky icky tummy, Bless him. We went to Utopia for beers after wards which was cool, they had beach volley ball and the rope ladder of death.
Yesterday we went to 'Fair Trek Travel Agency' and booked our 1 day Elephant Mahout excursion which is tomorow. We went to the market then just chilled out in the garden at the Guest House.
Today we went on the boat to Pak Ou Caves and the whisky village, it was realy nice weather and the surroundings were lovely. The Pak Ou Caves are supposed to have thousands of budas in them all different sizes which people have bought there over time. The caves have had a lot of looting over the past few years so there arent that many budhas left anymore.
Were realy excited about the Elephants tomorow, we ride behind the ears without a seat down to the river then bathe them. We feed them lunch then later we take them to the sleeping area in the jungle and put them to bed!
Must go and get some food now for myself.
Loves and hugs xxxxxxxx

Steve Hall What a place, starts with a wet t-shirt competition! The birthday sounds brilliant, you may know how I hate xmas and my birthday because of all the fuss and presents, so I love the idea of people who appreciate what really counts in life. Is Utopia all its supposed to be ? As an ex-caver I am intrigued to know more about the rope ladder of death, did you have a go ? O to be an elephant, that sort of service would cost you a lot of money in certain area's of Bristol !! Thanks for your card. Stay safe, Steve
