So were here in Dali Old City!

The bus journey was mostly spent asleep as we didnt get much sleep last night. We went to a couple of crazy clubs in kunming, Soho and Sinbad's. We didnt have to buy hardly any drinks the chinese are so excited about meeting westeners, they just kept filling our table with beer and saying "Cheers mate" all the time! We were with about 6 other people from our hostel. After the clubs we went back to the Hump Bar under the Hump Hostel where we were staying. We kept drinking with the bar staff and some crazy Americans untill 4:00AM. Garath ended up pretending to play guitar with a broom! I have photos coming soon!

Dali Old City is beautifull no highrise buildings, all old architechture. There is a massive lake to the east and mountains to the west. We are in the south area of the city.

Its realy quiet and peacefull. The hostel is lovely and compfy, the people are friendly and the food is good.

Were going to go for a wander/drink later with a couple of girls who we met at our hostel in Hong Kong, they are staying here also but have been here longer than us.
