Yesterday we finally went up the Cangshan Mountains. We got up early and met up with Brendan and a Korean guy (cant remember his name) and all took the open chair lift (ski lift). When we got up to the top we met Chris who was at Wada hostel in Guilin with us. We all set off together.

We walked for about 6-7 Hours and saw some amazing views of the Erhai lake and Dali old town and Dali city in the background. We went to the waterfall but as its the dry season it was just a dribble.

We got the Cable car down and headed straight to the Bad Monkey Bar for refreshments! We had massive lush cheesy bacon burgers and chips and several bottles of Tsingtao.

We were asked to play in the pool tournament with a prize of a case of Tsingtao. Why the heck not, even if we fall over the table and impale someone were leaving soon so it wont matter.

To our suprise, especially as some of the players were very good, Garath Won! A case of Tsingtao later we all strolled back to the hostel for a very good nights sleep.

We woke up this morning a little late and will travel to Lijiang tomorow!
