Hello from the warm people! Its sooooo hot here!

The weather was lovely for our trip to Yangshou. We got a bamboo boat down the Li river for 1 + 1/2 hours. The views were amazing, we started at the area that is pictured on the 20 yuen note.

In the evening we went to see the light show on the Li River called "Impression Sanjie Liu". Its 300+ people all dressed in amazing costumes singing and dancing on boats and floating walkways across the river, whilst the hills behind are all lit up.

Were in kunming at the moment, Nicknamed the spring city as its like this all the time! lush!

Our sleeper train took 18 hours to get here. It was quite comfortable, we took lots of nibbles to keep us busy. I've finished the first two books in the twilight saga. I managed to find an english section in a book store in Guilin so i now have the 3rd book! Yey! reading is good on the sleeper train especially if you are on the top bunk as you cant realy sit up straight.

Theres not alot to do here apart from laze around and drink nice cool beer! So we'll be heading out to Dali city tomorow.

Were about to book our accomadation through Hostelworld, I dont know how we would cope without it. It makes it so much easier to know you have a bed when you get there, instead of having to hunt for one or get your sleeping bag out on a bench!

Anyway must be swift as were paying for the internet here only 30p per hour, but I wanna get back out in the sun!

Grandad I hope your snout gets better soon!
