Hellooo, Got up early today as we had booked onto a tour to the floating markets. We caught a minibus with quite a few other people outside the hostel and headed an hour and a half outside of bangkok. There seemed to be alot of germans on board and they were all staying at posh hotels!! strange. Anyway we arrived at the market and aught a motorised longtail boat to the market itself. it was amazing, we saw monkeys in peoples gardens etc. very odd to see people...

Our first full day in Bangkok has been a hectic one. We were both wide awake at 3 in the morning due to the jet lag, and then knackered when we got up at 7! We had an interesting brekkie, the thais seem to like rice and veg for brekkie, give us tea and toast anyday. We then decided to head to the train station by tuk tuk to book tickets to chiang mai. We didnt manage to because they were all sold out so we are now off tomorrow night by VIP bus! the tuk tuk gu...

Hello Everybody, After a long 11hour flight we have arrived in Bangkok! It is hot and humid and we are currently sweating at this computer screen. We took a pay by meter taxi to our hostel, which is extremely nice for 7pounds a night, it is in a reasonably quiet road 15mins from the famous Koh San Road. Our Taxi driver was majorly impressed with me being a chelsea fan so already a hit with the locals! I think the ginger hair is also helping as i have been stare...
