Log 5th August: In Salinas about half way along the north coast of Spain. Have been in a routine of surfing, walking, reading and traveling to the next spot. This place has the best waves so far and free camping near the beach, so it qualifies for 2 nights. Spent a fair bit of time organizing Chris to fly to Zurich urgently and meet her folks who are flying over due to Chris's aunties serious illness. Log Sunday 31st July Finally we have found our paradise. We are situated on the top of a cliff looking down on the beach where there are still hundreds of people. It's 8pm and we are both in heaven, Paul because he has had a few surfs in the last few days and me cause the sun is out, the seawater is not too cold and there is a fresh water shower nearby. Log 26th July A week back we arrived at Barcelona to more hot weather and easily managed the train system to get to the beach, meet Mike and pick up our Mystery Machine. Log 20 July: Heading to Barcelona to pick up the combie from Mick (Aussie from Melbourne). Spent last night at Montpellier after 2 train trips from Monaco and today is the last leg. Log 19th July: Nearly at the end of week 4. Hard to believe as it feels like half that. Just had 6 days at Menton which is nearby to Monaco and only a short train trip to Monaco, Cannes, Nice and other places. All crowded and a bit over-rated.
